Kamala Harris’ old Democrat opponent during the 2020 election has made it clear that the two are polar opposites when it comes to their viewpoints on the immigration crisis. Over the weekend, former 2020 Democrat candidate for President, Tulsi Gabbard, unleashed on Harris’ latest claim that the border is secure.
Tulsi Gabbard took to Twitter over the weekend to slam VP Kamala Harris’ comments on the southern border.
On Saturday, Gabbard tweeted, “Kamala Harris’ statement that ‘we have a secure border’ is further evidence that she’s either completely disconnected from reality or she’s blatantly lying. Either way, she has no business being a heartbeat away from the presidency.”

Gabbard was replying to a clip, in which we reported last week, of Harris telling NBC’s Chuck Todd that the border is “secure.”
The Washington Examiner notes that Gabbard’s tweet comes as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that 199,000 immigrants were met at the border in July alone. The outlet also notes that that makes the total number of crossings since last October at over 1.9 million, which is already more than the 1.7 million who crossed from October 2020 to September 2021.
VP Harris must be fuming after reading Tulsi Gabbard’s tweet directed at her. It just goes to show how out of touch with reality the entire Biden administration is.
