An amicus brief filed by 11 Republican attorneys general in support of former president Donald Trump in his legal battle over the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago home last month denounced the search as a “ransacking.”

Washington examiner reports.  Attorney General Ken Paxton led the amicus brief in response to the Justice Department’s appeal of a decision blocking the agency from viewing classified documents from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home until a third party can review them. The DOJ has argued delaying its investigation would harm national security, but the Republican attorneys general in their legal filing Tuesday said the agency’s intentions should be considered “through jaundiced eyes.”

Paxton said in a statement “Joe Biden’s commitment to weaponizing the DOJ to go after political opponents should deeply concern all Americans, Given Biden’s track record, combined with his rhetoric demonizing anyone he disagrees with, the courts must be on high alert to the ways in which DOJ may abuse its power to punish President Donald Trump.”

A 21-page amicus brief describes four examples of how the Biden administration has “engaged in questionable political gamesmanship” to convince the courts the DOJ cannot be trusted with immediate access to classified documents. Among these examples are the administration’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic and its enforcement of immigration laws.

These statements come after President Trump blasted the FBI for their handling of the Mar A Lago raid.

Next news network reports. Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Terrible the way the FBI, during the Raid of Mar-a-Lago, threw documents haphazardly all over the floor (perhaps pretending it was me that did it!), and then started taking pictures of them for the public to see. Thought they wanted them kept Secret? Lucky I Declassified!”

Trump added in another message, “There seems to be confusion as to the “picture” where documents were sloppily thrown on the floor and then released photographically for the world to see, as if that’s what the FBI found when they broke into my home. Wrong! They took them out of cartons and spread them around on the carpet, making it look like a big “find” for them. They dropped them, not me – Very deceiving…And remember, we could have NO representative, including lawyers, present during the Raid. They were told to wait outside.”

It is apparent that the FBI is up to shenanigans when it comes to the handling of Former President Trump, and that every action is politically motivated. The American people deserve the truth on why Trump is being treated in such a way.
