Trump Will Dance The Jig When He Hears What SPACE FORCE Just Unveiled

The Space Force is back in the news but not for anything they did outside of our atmosphere. They just unveiled their new anthem and the response was interesting. Wait until you hear the new song.

This song caused some commotion

According to The Washington Examiner. As its service anthem, the Space Force has chosen “Semper Supra”.

According to Space Force News, Jamie Teachenor composed the song with Chief of Space Operations Gen. John “Jay” Raymond and Coast Guard musician Sean Nelson. As soon as the Space Force was created, Teachenor approached Raymond, and they began working on the song. On Tuesday, the completed version was presented at the 2022 Air & Space Forces Association Air, Space and Cyber Conference in Maryland.

Treachenor said. The song took almost three years to complete. “The song was a long work in progress because I wanted it to encompass all the capabilities that the Space Force offers and its vision,” He said.

As part of the Armed Forces Medley, this composition joins “The Army Goes Rolling Along,” the “Marines’ Hymn,” “Anchors Aweigh,” “The U.S. Air Force” (also known as “Wild Blue Yonder”), and “Semper Paratus.”

Some critics were not so fond of the new song though.

According to The Guardian. A military website reported that Space Force used Sousa’s 1901 march The Invincible Eagle as a stopgap while the new song was written, and that the tune was not a banger.

Jamie Teachenor, a country music songwriter and US Air Force Band member, wrote the lyrics.

Teachenor explained: “I made sure that every aspect of the song would accurately represent all the capabilities that the Space Force is involved with.”

The critical response was mixed at best. Kevin Baron, executive editor of Defense One, a military news site, wrote: “The tune is a fine march.” However, the lyrics are terrible.

Grammar-wise, I’m dying to edit: “You’re not an invisible front line. This is what the CIA does. We literally see you singing this song. ‘Warfighter’ is NOT A WORD. ‘Both’ is redundant. Strike it.”

Clearly not everybody is a big fan of this new anthem. That much was to be expected from Donald Trump’s Space Force. What do you think of the song? Does it deserve the critics it received? Let us know in the comments below!
