GOT NUKES? Biden Warns of Nuclear Threat So John Kerry Runs To China to Chat About Climate Instead

John Kerry is back in the news after he made a recent announcement to resume climate talks with China. The announcement itself isn’t puzzling, it’s the timing. Wait until you hear this.

The timing here is bizarre.

According to The Daily Caller. A day after President Joe Biden accused China of secretly building up its nuclear arsenal, White House climate envoy John Kerry said Tuesday he wants to restart climate talks with China.

In response to Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan, John Kerry expressed his wish for bilateral climate talks with China to resume. At the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Biden criticized China for undermining the international “nuclear nonproliferation regime” by building up its nuclear capabilities with little transparency and called for nuclear arms control measures to be instituted.

Biden warned of China’s nuclear weapons program during his UN speech in New York.

The number of nuclear warheads China currently has is estimated to be 350, but that will triple within a decade, senators and experts said during a hearing on Tuesday. As of yet, China has not signed any strategic arms control agreements with the United States.

Kerry reported that he tried to contact China’s Special Representative for Climate Change Affairs Xie Zhenhua to reopen climate talks, but hasn’t received a response. According to Kerry, negotiations could resume and that China would cooperate with the U.S. to achieve the international climate agenda.

Approximately 30% of the global greenhouse gas emissions are produced by China, which relies heavily on coal as a fuel source, and emits twice as much greenhouse gas as natural gas in the U.S. In order to fuel its economy, Beijing has indicated that it will increase coal consumption for the next several years as part of its plan for the future.

Despite this fact, in late August, Kerry praised China for “outperforming its commitments” to curb carbon emissions and embrace renewable energy.

BRIDGE: Kerry, the former secretary of state, has often been criticized for harsh approach to climate change and rhetoric surrounding human rights.

As reported by Next News Network. John Kerry came under fire recently for his comments regarding China following his calls to resume bilateral action on climate.

US News Reports. Kerry called on world leaders to speed up their energy transition away from fossil fuels on Tuesday to avert a global warming crisis.

Kerry told reporters, “As the world’s two largest economies, the United States and China must work together to tackle climate change. Both countries emit the most greenhouse gasses in the world. “My hope is that President Xi will get back to the table with us so that we can work together to deal with this international threat,” he said.

Kerry’s controversial statement came when he told Bloomberg that the Biden administration would have a tough choice when choosing between human rights and solar panels.

Kerry also came under fire for chuckling when pressed on China’s use of slave labor to build solar panels

Kerry also urged U.S. businesses in Hanoi to increase their investment in the energy transition process. In order to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, Kerry warned that countries must move away from dirty fuels like coal and oil to renewable sources.

China emits more C02 and pollution than any country in the world. Making concessions with them on the grounds of climate will be pointless unless of course their goal is to weaken the United States. John Kerry is a useless pawn of the Biden Administration and their incompetence is on full display.
