Gavin Newsom has little regard for federal law, and he has the habit of breaking or ignoring any law he does not agree with. Now he is flying the bird to federal law, and adding millions of illegal immigrants to a state ID program.

California is a woke liberal garbage dump. The state is facing waves of blackouts, a water crisis, banning gas powered lawn equipment, and forcing its residents to only have electric cars. Now the residents have to deal with millions of additional illegal immigrants being legitimized.

Daily wire reports. California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a package of bills related to undocumented residents last week that includes approval of state identification for migrants in the state.

Newsom signed the bill, AB 1766, that directs California’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue a restricted identification card to eligible participants by no later than July 1, 2027.

Newsom stated, “ California is expanding opportunity for everyone, regardless of immigration status. We’re a state of refuge – a majority-minority state, where 27 percent of us are immigrants. That’s why I’m proud to announce the signing of today’s bills to further support our immigrant community, which makes our state stronger every single day,”

According to the new law’s text, “This bill would specify that immigration enforcement, as defined, does not constitute an urgent health and safety need for those purposes, and would prohibit a government agency or department, law enforcement agency, commercial entity, or other person from obtaining, accessing, using, or otherwise disclosing, noncriminal history information maintained by the department, for the purpose of immigration enforcement.”

The change would prohibit the DMV from using migrant status as a factor in obtaining state identification.

While the bill does not state that Illegal Immigrants can vote after obtaining ID cards, California has a history of letting illegals vote.

Breitbart reports. The DMV erroneously registered 1,500 people, including non-citizens, to vote between April and September 2018, according to multiple news outlets. A number of years ago, the state government insisted that its safeguards would prevent such an event from occurring — a significant concern given the 2015 law that allowed illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses, as well as the 2017 law that automatically registered Californians to vote as soon as they received a driver’s license. Although the state claims there were no illegal aliens registered to vote, at least one legal alien was confirmed to have registered.

It appears that Gavin Newsom wants to add millions of Democrat voters to the voter rolls ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Newsom cares little that every single person who is about to get the state ID is violating multiple federal laws.
