Tucker Carlson delivered remarks at a funeral for Sonny Barger the founder of Hells Angels, while his speech was good, the optics are terrible.
The post Millennial writes. Tucker Carlson made a surprise appearance on Saturday to deliver a tribute at the funeral of Hells Angels biker gang founder Sonny Barger in California.
Carlson said what he learned from Barger, “Stand tall, stay loyal, remain free and always value honor. And I thought to myself if there is a phrase that sums up more perfectly what I want to be, what I aspire to be, and the kind of man I respect, I can’t think of a phrase that sums that up more perfectly than that,” Carlson added, “that came from Sonny Barger the famous outlaw biker.”
Let’s Watch.
Hells Angels have had a storied past when it comes to law enforcement.
The guardian writes. The Department of Justice (DoJ) considers the Hells Angels to be linked to organized crime.
According to one justice department study, although Barger “described the organisation as ‘a bunch of fun-loving guys who just ride motorcycles’ … research data show that the Hells Angels are involved in murder; the manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine; the distribution of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana; the purchase and sale of firearms; and other criminal activities.”
Well it might not have been one of the best places to give a speech for Tucker Carlson, his words are true for any brotherhood.
