The establishment media is doubling down on their certainty that Giorgia Meloni is a reincarnation of Italy’s fascist wartime leader, Mussolini.
A video compilation put together by Brietbart shows that it has been repeated hundreds of times on U.S. and international television over the last 48 hours that Italy is backsliding into fascism.
All of this comes as we previously reported that Matteo Renzi, Meloni’s political rival and former Italian prime minister, calls that description “fake news.”
He defended Meloni against attacks from pundits and leaders around the world, saying in part “There is not a danger for Italian democracy,” and that the idea that there is a risk of facism in Italy is “fake news.”
