The war in Ukraine has been raging since February, and Ukraine has made massive progress on kicking Russia’s butt across the field. Now with Russia bringing 300,000 more troops, and essentially declaring war, it will  be all hands on deck for Ukraine.

Washington Examiner reports. On Tuesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the United States is providing Ukraine with another $625 million in military aid.

Tuesday’s aid marks the 22nd drawdown of U.S. arms and equipment to support Ukraine since August of last year. Since Russia invaded Ukraine roughly seven months ago, the U.S. has provided Ukraine with more than $16.8 billion in military assistance.

In addition to four High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and associated ammunition, 16 155mm Howitzers, 75,000 155mm artillery rounds, and 500 precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds are included in this package. Ukraine’s ability to resist the Russian military has been credited to the HIMARS system.

This news comes after the United States responded to Ukraine’s NATO application.

Next News network reported. White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Ukraine’s request for rapid ascension into NATO should occur at a later date.

Sullivan told reporters on Friday that the request, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced hours earlier, “should be taken up at a different time” because “our view is that the best way for us to support Ukraine is through practical on the ground support in Ukraine.”

Whelp if Ukraine joined NATO, it would guarantee WW3. Considering the current economic situation in America, sending almost 17 billion dollars to a nation to fight against Russia seems the opposite of our efforts to end inflation at home.
