Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County, Florida, offered a straightforward message to residents whose houses or businesses had been looted after Hurricane Ian: “Take your gun and shoot him until he looks like grated cheese.”
According to the Daily Wire, during an appearance on Fox & Friends on Friday, Sheriff Judd imparted that wisdom, noting that a number of bad actors took advantage of the chaos after the storm to steal from homes and businesses that were already devastated by high winds and dangerous flooding.
The NRA shared Judd’s comments on Twitter.

The remarks from Judd echo those of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), who reminded those considering looting their neighbors that the Sunshine State is a stand-your-ground state.
Florida is a law and order state.
