When your running  a non-profit apparently you can spend millions of dollars on mansions, and the stuff that goes along with owning a mansion.

Patrisse Cullors is no stranger to getting a ton of media attention for the work she’s done with BLM, now she’s getting a whole bunch more attention for her spending of money after starting that organization.

Breitbart reports. According to a report, Black Lives Matter cofounder Patrisse Cullors has been renovating the backyard of her luxurious $1.4 million mansion.

According to Breitbart, Cullors, a “trained Marxist,” has installed a new sauna and garden outside her ritzy house in Los Angeles’ Topanga Canyon neighborhood.

It appears that she also added a plunge pool, concrete steps, a children’s swing set, and a trampoline. According to the British publication, the concrete steps were probably added due to the property’s slope.

BRIDGE. Cullors has a history of spending millions of dollars on lavish homes across the country since her co-founding of BLM.

Cullors helped cofound BLM in 2013 and was instrumental in the organization’s rise to national prominence following the death of George Floyd and subsequent riots in 2020.

It was questioned, however, how the BLM Global Network Foundation spent the $90 million it had raised following that tumultuous year.

In March 2021, Cullors purchased the Topanga Canyon compound for $3.2 million in cash under the entity name “Abolitionist Entertainment, LLC.” Since 2016, she had purchased four homes in California and Georgia.

According to Breitbart News, she resigned from BLM after facing mounting criticism over missed funds in May 2021.

What we don’t get is why Cullors would all of a sudden have so much money after starting a charity that is supposed to represent African Americans, and be focused on activism not purchasing mansions. I wonder how the people she is supposed to represent feels about her continued lavish purchases.

Let’s continue this conversation, in the comments below.
