A viral video put out by a Chinese defense contractor is showing some incredible technology that does not bode well for the future of the human race.

We always knew this day would come. A future where a robot is transporting another robot that is intended to kill humans. 

According to “The Drive”, A Chinese drone carrying a ‘robot dog’ that is armed with a machine gun has been making its way around social media, and it looks like something ouit of the Terminator films. While it is not clear whether the clip was recorded as part of a Chinese military exercise or merely as a demonstration of how the pairing will work, it can serve as a foreshadowing of the technology that may be deployed on future battlefields even without that context.

I guess China did not want to be outdone by Russia when it came to robot dogs and guns.

Next news network reported. a video of a robot dog firing bullets from a machine gun mounted on its back began circulating across the internet. The clip shot in Russia at the time of the publishing of this article had over 7.6 million views and over 27,000 retweets.

The robot, which looks like something made by American company Boston Dynamics, was equipped with an automatic weapon and can be seen shooting at targets on a firing range with a rifle mounted to its back. The recoil consistently knocks the robot back, but it can be seen readjusting to make sure its shots are accurate. The robot is likely Chinese-made though.

We tend to make our robots in China, so China always gets the technology after someone in America designs, tests, and builds it.  We just hope that the tech the USA has is better than drone delivered, fighting robot dogs. But just remember, “The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.”
