Trump Celebrates The DEMISE of “Late Night” With Perfect Message That Cuts Them Like A Knife

It’s finally happened! After years of bashing and ridiculing, Left-wing “Late Night” hosts are eating crow. And who better to celebrate than Trump himself? As you know, the “Late Night” shows have been a thorn in Trump’s side for years, but now it looks like they’re finally done for. In a perfect message that cuts like a knife, Trump celebrates their demise and reminds us all why he’s still the best president we’ve ever had.

It is becoming more and more difficult for Late Night Comedy to survive as it goes further and further left.

There has been a downward trend in liberal comedians’ ratings since 2016.

Fox News reported:

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” averaged 2.2 million viewers in 2016. By 2022, his audience has dropped to 1.5 million, a loss of more than a third.

Liberal comics have experienced systemic audience declines. James Corden’s “The Late Late Show” has lost 36% of its viewers since 2016, now averaging 819,000 viewers. Between 2016 and 2022, NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” lost nearly half its viewers, going from 1.5 million to 786,000. This year, HBO’s “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” averaged 528,000 viewers, down nearly 60% since 2017.

Oliver has struck gold despite his dwindling audience. Quite literally. Following the departure of Jon Stewart from “The Daily Show,” “Last Week Tonight” has dominated the category ever since.

In response, Trump said it was his “great honor to have destroyed the ratings of Late Night “Comedy” shows.”

He posted to Truth Social:

“It was my great honor to have destroyed the ratings of Late Night “Comedy” shows. There is nothing funny about the shows, the three hosts have very little talent, and when Jimmy Fallon apologized for having humanized “Trump,” and his ratings soared, the Radical Left forced him to apologize—that was effectively the end of The Tonight Show. In any event, congratulations to Greg Gutfield!”

Wouldn’t it be easier if these comedians just made fun of Republicans and democrats equally?

While it may seem odd to celebrate declining audience numbers, President Trump’s boast about destroying the ratings of liberal late night shows highlights an important truth: the mainstream comedy scene has become incredibly polarizing. As noted by the statistics we’ve just presented, many liberal-leaning comedians have seen their viewership drop significantly in recent years. And yet, despite this decline in viewership, stars like John Oliver continue to strike gold thanks to their biased partners in Hollywood and the media. This polarization demonstrates the power of Americans as they turn off the programs in search of actual comedy. And while Trump may be celebrating these losses, they also serve as a reminder that Americans of all political stripes are fed up with one sided comedy. So, perhaps this will serve as a reminder to hollywood and the media to pay attention to their audience otherwise the only thing we’ll all be laughing at is when they go off the air completely.
