Well yet another democrat is busted paying an insane amount of money to keep themselves safe, while demanding less police protections for the rest of America.

What a bunch of hogwash, Democrats are calling for the defunding of police yet they have armed security follow them everywhere. Now that financial reports are out in the open some of the most verdant supporters of the defund the police movement have been busted paying lots of money for off duty cops to protect themselves. Yet at the same time they are making moves to leave the rest of us PLEBS to fend for ourselves.

Washington examiner reports. A new report alleges squad member Rep. Cori Bush  spent just under $500,000 on private security over the last two years despite public calls to defund the police. According to Federal Election Commission records obtained by Fox News, Bush’s campaign paid over $100,000 for security services during the third quarter of 2022 alone. A little over $71,000 went to private security, and the remaining $30,000 went to other security services. Overall, she has spent $490,000. Despite opposing the movement to defund the police, Bush said it is better to think of it as reallocating funds to a broader public safety department. Calls to defund the police unfurled after the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd, who died two years ago after a police officer knelt on his neck.

Cori Bush is not the only Democrat who has been busted paying cops for protection after calling for defunding police.

Next News network reported. Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams has spent over $1.2 million on private security since announcing her candidacy in December 2021 despite her ties to multiple abolitionist groups and opposition to the “privatization of justice.” A Fox News review found that the Abrams campaign doled out over $400,000 between July and August of this year alone for private security. These payments follow an exclusive report from July that found the Abrams campaign paid out over $800,000 to Executive Protection Agencies, LLC, an Atlanta-based private security firm, between December 2021 and June of this year.

Rules for thee but not for me, it’s just the ultimate hypocrisy, isn’t it? These so-called “defund the police” Democrats preaching about dismantling law enforcement, yet they pay top dollar for their own personal protection from those very same police officers. Meanwhile, the average Americans are left to fend for themselves while these elite politicians sit back in their gated communities with round-the-clock security. And let’s not forget that a government’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of its people – something that is even guaranteed in our Constitution. Yet these “defund dems” are completely disregarding this duty by stripping resources and support from law enforcement. It’s time for Americans to demand better leadership – ones who actually care about protecting their constituents, not just themselves.
