Democrats have failed America. They are the ones causing the mass exodus of police officers from the streets. Democrats are the ones lying to all of us right now by saying that crime is not a problem. Yet despite their lies, police officers are abandoning their jobs at a record rate. 

Daily wire reported. According to a Daily Wire analysis of federal data, major Democrat-run cities have significantly fewer police officers than they did a few years ago, as Democrats disavow past claims to “defund the police.”

Based on data collected from police departments across the country by the FBI, cities with populations of 500,000 or more had, combined, 2.54 police per 1,000 residents last year, compared to 2.8 in 2016 and 2.75 in 2018. The rate was 3.31 in 2000.

Compared to 2018, two years before George Floyd’s killing and a wave of “Black Lives Matter” anti-police activism, New York City, which has the nation’s largest police force at over 35,000 uniformed officers, was down 1,087 officers in 2021, the most recent year for which data was available. The city slashed its budget for that year by $1 billion.

The Minneapolis police department, where Floyd was killed by an officer now serving a 22-year sentence, has lost 24% of its sworn officers since Floyd was killed. Los Angeles was down 500, from 10,000 to 9,500 officers.

Democrats are hoping that Americans forget that they were calling to defund the police.

The defund movement, supported by Democrats, is leading to a mass exodus of police officers from major cities. As a result, public safety is at risk and the blood is on the hands of Democrats. They refuse to acknowledge the reality that their defund policies are leading to an increase in crime and putting innocent lives in danger. The hypocrisy is staggering – these same Democrats preach about caring for the safety of Americans, yet their actions speak otherwise. And make no mistake, they are criminals themselves for allowing this to happen and endangering countless lives. It’s time for accountability and for Democrats to be held responsible for the consequences of their actions.  We cannot sit idly by while they continue to harm our communities and endanger our families. Enough is enough – it’s time to say no to defund and no to the Democrat party’s failed policies.
