Experts have rated the U.S. Military as weak and incapable of winning any wars. There is a risk that the US could suffer a disaster as tensions with China continue to increase. Considering the state of our military, it is imperative that we all do our part to support them.

The New York Post reports, Reports on American military strength indicate that the Pentagon is struggling to keep its forces equipped against potential threats from China and Russia.

As a result of years of underfunding and ill-defined priorities, the military has become “weak compared to the force needed to defend national interests on the global stage,” according to the Heritage Foundation’s annual report titled “Index of Military Strength.”

“[T]he current U.S. military force is at significant risk of not being able to meet the demands of a single major regional conflict,” the report said. “The force would probably not be able to do more and is certainly ill-equipped to handle two nearly simultaneous [major conflicts.]”

Meanwhile, as Russia continues to wage war on Ukraine and China becomes more aggressive in the Pacific, the possibility of two-front war has increased.

“In the aggregate, the United States’ military posture can only be rated as ‘weak,’” the report said.

According to the think tank’s assessment of force capacity, capability, and readiness, only the Marine Corps was rated as “strong.” The Army was rated “marginal,” the Space Force and Navy “weak,” and the Air Force was rated “very weak.”
