A seriously bad gaffe was made by Joe Biden in telling Gisele Fetterman — the wife of U.S. senator candidate John Fetterman (D-PA) — that SHE was going to make a great senator.

The Daily Wire writes, Thursday, Biden made an appearance in Pennsylvania on Fetterman’s behalf. That’s when he paused to offer accolades and thanks to several of the Democratic elected officials and candidates who joined them on the campaign stop. It’s at this time when he said that Fetterman’s wife will make a “great lady in the Senate.”

Biden’s remarks follow questions about Fetterman’s health and abilities following a stroke earlier this year.

While his campaign claimed he had no cognitive issues, the candidate has reportedly struggled with auditory processing – leading him to use a laptop during an interview with NBC as we recently reported.

In the wake of her husband’s tight race against Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz, Gisele has been branded “more than a surrogate” as she has taken a more active role in his campaign. The question has been asked whether she could take the place of her husband in office if he were to become incapable of performing his duties once elected.

Gisele Fetterman was even called “the de facto candidate” by Rolling Stone.
