It’s getting closer to that time of year again where we all gather around the table with our loved ones to give thanks for all that we have. But this year, something is different – the price of turkeys is skyrocketing and they’ll be harder to find than ever before. Why is this happening? 

Well point your drumstick directly at bidenflation for recent supply shortages and price increases. 

DNYUZ reported. Whole turkeys have also become more expensive due to inflation. Feed, fuel, and labor, which are often scarce, cost more for farmers and processors. They face supply shortages and drought.

Consequently, home cooks this year could pay more than twice as much for a turkey as they did last year, poultry industry experts predict.

And then there’s the avian flu. A particularly persistent and contagious strain carried by migrating birds has killed at least 3.6 percent of the nation’s turkeys, or about 7.3 million birds, according to figures from the Department of Agriculture and Watt Global Media, which monitors the poultry industry.

Luckily the liberals the costs for other goods are going up right before the election.

Next news network reported. The New York Post reports, As record levels of inflation have increased candy prices, trick-or-treating this Halloween may not yield as many sweets as previous years. Last month, the price of candy and chewing gum jumped 13.1%, the biggest jump ever recorded in inflation statistics. According to analysts, the sharp price increase is due to soaring sugar costs, which were exacerbated by drought conditions that affected beet-sugar crops in the northern part of the country.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the overall cost of sugar and sweets increased by 14.4% last month. Last month, sugar and sugar substitutes saw a 17.1% increase in price, according to the BLS.

This Thanksgiving, Biden is truly a turkey – the kind who ruins dinner. Thanks to his inaction and neglect towards our country’s meat supply chain, it’s going to be harder than ever to find a decent turkey at a reasonable price. And even if you’re lucky enough to snag one, it’ll likely be smaller than usual due to shortages in the industry. Our biggest holiday of gratitude is going to feel more like an exercise in frustration as we try to navigate ridiculous prices and scarcity. So while we’re giving thanks this year, let’s make sure Biden knows he won’t be receiving any from us. He’s already ruined enough for one holiday season. No thanks to you, Joe.
