Former President Barack Obama recently endorsed current Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Democrat gubernatorial candidate in Florida Charlie Crist.
The Daily Wire writes, during a Friday endorsement video for Florida gubernatorial opponent Charlie Crist (D), former President Barack Obama passively targeted current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) by calling him a “bully”.
Then, on the same set and in the same clothing, Obama then made an endorsement video for Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. Pritzker will be facing Republican candidate Darren Bailey in this November’s midterm election.
In the ad, as noted by ABC 7 Chicago, Obama praises Pritzker for transforming Illinois into a national leader on issues like raising the minimum wage, protecting voting rights, and cracking down on illegal gun sales.
As we previously reported, Republican candidate for Illinois Governor, Darren Bailey, may well be closing the gap despite Pritzker’s 15-point lead in the current RCP average.
According to a poll conducted by Osage Research between October 13th and 15th, 42 percent of likely voters would vote for Bailey if the election were held today, while 44 percent would vote for Pritzker.
Going back to the Florida gubernatorial race, a recent FAU poll shows Gov. Ron Desantis leading his Democratic opponent Charlie Crist by 11 points.
