They did it to Parlor, They did it to Gab, so what makes you think they won’t do it to Twitter? Well I’ve got news for you, we got wind from a lobbyist that the ball is already in motion to do just that. Wipe Twitter for the Apple and Play stores and yank them off Amazon AWS.
The chorus from the radical left to trample on our God given constitutional right to Free Speech grows louder and lower by the day. They use terms like hate speech and misinformation to justify crushing any voice that opposes their authoritarian world view. Because in a Globalist World Order there can only be one voice, the one that parrots approved talking points and worships the Godless state with unwavering devotion.
Last night I received an urgent phone call – from a person who wishes to remain anonymous – he told me that a Google Lobbyist was running his mouth declaring that following Elon Musk’s final acquisition of Twitter the app would be yanked from the Google Play store as early as this weekend. And with the midterms ahead this would be the perfect time for them to effectively stifle free speech.
Now if you recall yesterday we reported the deal would close on Friday. As you watch this billions of dollars are being moved to Musk to cut the final check.
Again, deplatforming Parlor was a reletivle easy task for Big Tech to do. Now platforms like Apple and Google are planning to kill Twitter and deplatform it as well, similarly to how they once killed Parler.
Still don’t believe me? In April, the woke activist Shaun King tweeted that Apple and Google had already promised to deplatform Twitter if the app failed to moderate and remove “hate speech.”
His twitter account has since been deactivated but here is the archive of the tweet that read:
“I am told this morning that Apple and Google will remove Twitter from the App Store if it does not moderate and remove hate speech under @ElonMusk. This isn’t a new policy, but a commitment already made. Amazon Web Services has the same commitment. So there’s that.”
So, what would the app landscape look like if Twitter was no more? Well for starters it would still exist on all the phones where it currently resides, that is until a mandatory software update renders the app unusable. And then should Amazon take the next step and pull Twitter from their web hosting services, the site would cease to exist altogether.
But don’t think no one would notice. Millions of users would cry out and unhinged liberals would likely celebrate Twitter’s demise as a necessary step to “preserve democracy” or something like that.
After all just yesterday Brynn Tannehill of the “New Republic” published this piece titled “Why Elon Musk’s Idea of “Free Speech” Will Help Ruin America”
If you don’t know Brynn, she’s the author of the spectacular book, “American Fascism: How the GOP is Subverting Democracy”, so you know what side of the playing field she’s on.
Oh and how could I pass up this gem she penned, “White Evangelicals Are Why America Can’t Have Nice Things”.
Now back to her New Republic piece, she’s petrified at the prospect that people like Donald Trump would be reinstated on Twitter – that of course would be a bridge to far – because she believes “that lies and disinformation will overwhelm the truth and the fascists will take over.”
It’s laughable that she believes that banning speech is necessary to prevent a “fascist takeover” when in fact that is the first move of fascists themselves when they take over.
She must have skipped history class to attend a Woman’s March or something while they were teaching about the Nazi Book Burnings of 1933.
Certainly Ironic since her surname has German roots.
But enough about Brynn, who thinks only her hate speech is permitted.
Late last night Dinesh D’Souza tweeted this image from “The Pacific” where the headline reads, “Musk’s Twitter Takeover Threatens our Democracy with Unrestricted Speech”.
D’Souza captioned the image tweeting, “One might think that free and open debate would be a prerequisite for a healthy democracy to function. The premise of this wacky headline seems to be that our democracy requires repression, censorship and the routine stifling of political debate in order to survive.”
The cries from the left don’t stop at “The Pacific” or the “New Republic”
Over on MSNBC they have been panicking since the Twitter acquisition began. Democratic strategist Danielle Moodie joined Al Sharpton called Musk’s acquisition, “problematic” creating an “Arena of Hate”
TAKE A LOOK
Despite her advocacy to restrict speech. Musk has already stated he will run Twitter without any political bias by taking a centrist approach. Being centrist is just to far right for Ms. Moddie it seems.
Elsewhere on MSNBC, Katy Tur warned viewers on her program of globe altering consequences that would occur should Elon buy Twitter.
TAKE A LOOK
These radicals don’t believe you have a voice. They’re disregarding the importance of free and open debate that is the lifeblood of preserving our Republic. It is the very reason the Founders enshrined it as the very FIRST Amendment to our Constitution.
Now back to that phone call. I was told that Google Play would be removing Twitter off their app store this weekend. Will that actually play out? I certainly hope not, but my source was confident that the wheels are in motion to do just that.
But with every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
For one, Elon has the means and the money to battle the tech titans. The playbook was written when they deplatformed Parlor. Don’t think for a second Elon hasn’t studied every angle of attack. Not to mention all Elon’s financial backers with their own deep pockets. And what of Congress and the coming Red Wave? You can guarantee that once Republicans get their majority back the Tech executive will be hauled before countless committees and made to account for their monopolistic behavior. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Mush already has a thousand servers in a remote location ready to serve up Twitter after they take him down.
The de-platforming of conservative-leaning social media sites like Parlor and Gab is a disturbing trend, but the potential removal of Twitter from the Google Play store takes it to a whole new level. With billions in his pocket and a willingness to fight, billionaire CEO Elon Musk has been vocal about creating a true platform for free speech. But will Big Tech silence him before he can even get started? Let’s hope he succeeds in standing up to Big Tech and prevents them from killing Twitter once and for all. This isn’t just about one man’s ambition. The ability for individuals to engage in open and unfiltered debate is crucial for our republic to thrive. But if Big Tech continues on this censorship rampage, who’s to say they won’t come for Twitter next? The power these companies have to de-platform at will is frightening – It’s time for the radical left to understand that a true democratic republic can only thrive when differing opinions are allowed to coexist. Only then will we truly have a healthy society.
