A Michigan Mayor is regretting his recent life choices after outrage is sparked after he made some hypocritical home improvements.

The woke elitists want us all to suffer while they live in the exact opposite of their policies. We see this every day as other liberal elites attempt to control the masses for their agenda, yet do the exact opposite in private. This is no exception.

Fox news reports. Ann Arbor’s government adopted the A2Zero plan in June 2020. Among its provisions, the plan asks residents to voluntarily electrify their homes, cutting off natural gas reliance. 

Yet, despite his own plans Ann Arbor Michigan Mayor Christopher Taylor installed a new gas line and gas-powered fireplace in his home despite his push for the city to phase out fossil fuel usage and boost electrification.

City permits show Christopher Taylor, a Democrat who has served as mayor of the city since 2014, installed the gas line to hook up to his new fireplace earlier this year, MLive reported. Taylor has been a strong proponent of climate policies, including the so-called A2Zero carbon neutrality plan that calls on residents to buy electric vehicles, install solar panels and rely less on fossil fuels

This news comes after California Governor Gavin Newsom made a press statement telling residents to turn up their air conditioning to stop power usage.

The Democratic Governor of California Gavin Newsom asked residents to “do a little bit more” to keep power available, saying that California’s hydroelectric capacity has been cut as a result of a prolonged drought. In addition, the governor signed an executive order giving California greater access to energy.

It’s incredible that he sat there during a record heatwave, telling residents to raise their home temperatures, wearing a sweater. Disgraceful, and hypocritical.

Another day, another example of liberal elites carving out special rules for themselves while the rest of us suffer. This time, it’s Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor pushing his extremist “woke” agenda on the city while allegedly installing a gas line and fireplace in his own home. Talk about rules for thee but not for me. Pure hypocrisy from a Democrat politician – surprise, surprise. But what else can we expect from a party that preaches about helping the little guy while lining their own pockets and living lavishly? Any chance to push their agenda, even if it means complete and utter disregard for their own actions. Never forget that Democrats are the ones who lie, cheat, and steal their way to power – just look at all the corruption and scandals in cities like Chicago and New York. Folks should realize by now that these so-called saviors are nothing more than liars and crooks. Wake up, America. Don’t fall for their lies any longer. It’s time to vote them out and put an end to this hypocrisy once and for all.
