It’s no secret that Joe Biden has been caught in a few lies when it comes to the economy. But what happens when a reporter tries to call them out on it? Watch this video to find out.

Throughout the election season, Joe Biden has claimed repeatedly that his policies have reduced the deficit and created jobs at record levels.

The Blaze reports, Jacqui Heinrich, a Fox News reporter, called out the Biden administration for misleading the public about the economy on Monday.

Despite Heinrich’s question, Karine Jean-Pierre stumped for Biden and Democrats instead.

In reality, deficit reduction and job creation are the result of the economy returning to pre-pandemic levels.

As for deficit reduction, the CBO explained: “CBO projects that the federal budget deficit will shrink to $1.0 trillion in 2022 (it was $2.8 trillion last year) and that the annual shortfall would average $1.6 trillion from 2023 to 2032. The deficit continues to decrease as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) next year as spending related to the coronavirus pandemic wanes, but then deficits increase, reaching 6.1 percent of GDP in 2032. The deficit has been greater than that only six times since 1946 “

Even though Biden claims to have created 10 million jobs, the job growth is mainly due to people returning to the workforce. These aren’t newly created jobs.

According to the latest jobs report, there are only 514,000 more jobs today than there were in February 2020 before the pandemic.

The Biden administration can try to peddle their lies about the economy all they want, but the truth always comes out. As Heinrich exposed during Monday’s press conference, Joe Biden’s economic policies haven’t led to any real improvement in job creation or deficit reduction – they are simply the result of the economy bouncing back from the pandemic. Karine Jean-Pierre tried to spin it as a win for Democrats, but we know better. The fact is, Biden’s actions are leading us towards economic disaster, and it’s only a matter of time before Americans reject his failed policies and vote for a red wave in 2022. This moment may have been embarrassing for Jean-Pierre, but ultimately it exposed just how desperate and deceitful the Biden administration truly is.
