America is in the throws of an energy crisis as a result of the disastrous policies of the Biden administration bowing down to the radical left environmentalists pushing us into a so-called “green economy” Because of that America’s supplies of diesel are running low and we only have 25 days left before we run out. So what is Biden doing about it?
According to the Energy Information Administration, the United States has less than one month’s supply of diesel fuel.
The Daily Wire writes, Despite only 25 days of inventory, the nation’s four-week average of distillates supplied, a proxy for demand, rose to its highest seasonal level since 2007, Bloomberg reports.
FOX News’ Tucker Carlson laid out exactly what will happen when we are officially out of diesel fuel.
The low supply and high demand come as Americans prepare to cast their votes in the upcoming midterm elections, many of whom are concerned about the state of the economy. Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese acknowledged to Bloomberg that inventories are “unacceptably low” and affirmed that “all options are on the table” for the White House.
In addition to the maintenance season at many refineries, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has depleted supplies.
Northeastern United States fuel inventories are less than one-third of seasonal levels, where most people burn fuel for heating. According to the Energy Information Administration, households primarily using natural gas for space heating will spend $931 on power from October to March, a $206 increase over last year.
Because diesel fuel has a higher energy density than other liquid fuels, it is used for the majority of shipping activity in the United States, as well as large shares of military and agricultural activities. According to AAA data, diesel fuel costs an average of $5.33 per gallon nationwide.
President Biden announced in March that his administration would release 180 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, a reserve of emergency crude oil intended to manage supply disruptions in energy markets, in response to soaring energy prices, which have contributed to overall inflationary pressures. It is expected that the last 15 million barrels will be cleared by December 31.
All of this comes after Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s oil minister, delivered an ominous warning Tuesday, saying that “people are depleting their emergency stocks,” using them to “manipulate markets” despite their stated purpose being to mitigate supply shortages.
The crisis looming before us is an absolute disaster in the making. The Biden administration’s zero solutions and bowing down to radical environmentalists has left America with only 25 days of diesel left. It’s too late for attempts to quickly ramp up production or import more – we are facing an absolute disaster mere weeks away. And what makes it even worse is that this could have been avoided if the White House had adequate foresight and preparedness. The lack of diesel will undoubtedly cause major disruptions to transportation, shipping, and countless industries reliant on diesel fuel. How much longer do we have to suffer under the disastrous policies of this administration before real change can be made? Our future hangs in the balance.
