Dems About to Be BLINDSIDED in Connecticut After Sleeper Race Comes Out of Nowhere

As a result of an unexpected turn of events, Republican George Logan now leads the race for Connecticut’s blue district’s next representative. This could be a major turning point in American politics and we’re going to be following this story closely.

The 5th District in Connecticut hasn’t received much attention this year, but that might soon change. Despite Connecticut being a very blue state, a Republican candidate named George Logan is now leading. A Republican victory in Connecticut would definitely signal a red wave.

The Connecticut Mirror reports, There’s a one-point lead for Republican George Logan over US Rep Jahana Hayes, D-5th District, in the first public poll in Connecticut’s closely watched congressional race.

According to a poll released Thursday by WTNH/The Hill/Emerson College, the race is a toss-up, which validates national Republican spending in a blue-state district.

A survey of 500 likely voters conducted from Oct. 19 to 21 showed Logan leading 48% to 47%, with 4% undecided. This study has a margin of error of 4.3 percentage points.

“There is a stark gender divide among 5th District voters: 55% of women plan to vote to re-elect Hayes whereas 57% of men plan to vote for Logan,” said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling. “In addition, Logan is winning independent votes 53% to 38%.”

In the same poll, over half of respondents cited the economy as the most important issue in determining their vote, followed by 15% who cited abortion and 14% concerned about threats to democracy. Other than that, nothing else registered in double digits.

In a recent campaign ad, Logan explained a little bit about his family background and how he plans to fight inflation if elected.

The fact that a Republican is leading in a traditionally blue district in Connecticut means this election is about more than just one seat in the House. It’s a sign that a red wave is coming. Democrats should be scared, because this unexpected turn of events shows that their control is not as secure as they may have thought. It’s time for Republicans to come together and make this victory happen. Let’s make history and show the country that this is just the beginning of a conservative takeover. The 5th District in Connecticut might not have received much attention this year, but it certainly will now. Let’s make this sleeper race count and bring about a red wave.
