CNN CEO Chirs Licht is raising the alarm bells that something is seriously wrong as CNN prepares to leap off the financial cliff.

Ever since Trump started his attacks on CNN the ratings for the network have continued to decline, so much so in fact that the future of the network is in serious question, as their ratings and viewership continues to decline. 

Town hall reports. There will be another round of layoffs for CNN employees as viewer ratings continue to plummet.

According to an internal memo that was leaked, CNN CEO Chris Licht, the liberal news outlet is facing “noticeable change. … that, by definition, is unsettling. These changes will not be easy because they will affect people, budgets, and projects.”

He insinuated that CNN could no longer afford to continue on its current course, even though he has been leading the far-left network for only six months. 

According to Licht, “there is widespread concern over the global economic outlook” and “we must factor that risk into our long-term planning.”

Last week, CNN only averaged 512,000 primetime total viewers, compared to Fox News having over two million viewers. 

Next news network reported. We all have taken joy in watching CNN and other networks repeatedly terminate their most woke liberal anchors, and their attempts to save the networks. It’s almost like America knows they are a lie factory….

During the third quarter of 2022, Fox News Channel topped cable’s total and primetime viewership as Americans tuned in for information and analysis during a busy news cycle that included everything from ongoing economic woes to the FBI raiding the Mar-a-Lago estate of former President Trump. 

In primetime, Fox News dominated with 2.2 million average viewers to outdraw MSNBC and CNN combined. MSNBC averaged 1.3 million viewers, followed by ESPN, HGTV, and Hallmark. For the 83rd consecutive quarter, Fox News was the highest-rated cable news network during primetime, beating CNN with 717,000 viewers. 

Despite Chris Licht’s best efforts, his efforts at CNN don’t seem to be bearing fruit. Licht refuses to publicly admit that the network was a propaganda machine that spread lies and hurt Americans. By attacking the “News” outlet and showing how far off base they were, Trump and other conservative leaders only accelerated the network’s collapse. In spite of all the recent terminations and staffing changes, the network is barely able to stay afloat financially. Truth will always prevail, so we will toast to CNN’s eventual collapse.
