Based on the latest CBS Battleground Tracker poll, Republicans are expected to gain at least 15 seats in the House of Representatives.
The Daily Wire writes, According to the poll, the GOP will control 228 seats to the Democrats’ 207.
A similar model was used by the poll that accurately predicted the outcome of the 2018 midterm elections, with a margin of error of plus or minus 12 seats.
Additionally, the model appears to reflect recent national polls that suggest the House is likely to flip to the Republicans in a red wave. According to a Rasmussen Reports Poll released Friday, Republicans lead likely U.S. voters nationwide by seven points.
According to that survey, 49% of Likely U.S. voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 42% would vote for the Democrat. Four percent (4%) would vote for another candidate, while five percent (5%) aren’t sure.
According to Rick Scott, chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the GOP will hold at least 52 Senate seats after the 2022 elections. According to the senator, his party will win several of the Senate’s most controversial battles during Sunday’s “State of the Union” on CNN.
To break the current 50-50 tie in the Senate, Republicans must win 51 seats. Currently, Democrats control the chamber due to the vice president’s tie-breaking vote.
