BREAKING: NATO Scrambles, Russian Missiles Strike Poland, 2 Dead, Article 5 Emergency Meeting Called

Moments ago Russian missiles struck a village 15 miles inside Poland triggering officials there to call for emergency meetings to determine if a NATO response would be needed. A response that could escalate the conflict in Ukraine to World War 3. As of this report there are 2 confirmed casualties. Was this a deliberate strike or a miscalculation by Russia? That much is not yet known but how the world reacts will say everything.

Two people have been killed in Poland after two stray Russian rockets landed near the Ukrainian border.

Russia bombarded Ukraine with over 100 rockets earlier today, resulting in the rockets landing in the NATO state.

The Pentagon responded moments ago.

If Poland triggers NATO’s Article 5 provisions, all members of NATO would be required to attack Russia as a result of the attack. In accordance with Article 5, an attack against one NATO ally is considered an attack against all allies.

Allies may also invoke Article 4, which requires them to consult together if, “in the opinion of any one of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the parties is threatened”.
However one analyst didn’t think this would warrant a full response from NATO.
TAKE A LOOK

A senior US intelligence official told the AP news agency that the missiles were Russian. Ministers for National Security and Defense Affairs have been summoned by Poland’s Prime Minister “as a matter of urgency”.

Local news outlet Radio Zet reports that the country’s most important people are attending Poland’s emergency meeting. Military planes were also scrambled, the station reported.

There is some speculation that the rockets may have been aimed at Lviv, a Ukrainian city about 50 miles from the Ukrainian border that is 62 miles south of where the missiles struck inside Poland.
A source in Brussels told Russian state media outlet TASS that NATO’s response to the attack may be influenced by Warsaw’s statements regarding missile ownership.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence, however, was quick to deny the missile strike, instead claiming it was a “deliberate provocation”.

Their claim was that “no strikes were made against targets near the Ukrainian-Polish state border by Russian weapons” – despite multiple missile strikes hitting Lviv, a Ukrainian city about 62 miles south of Przewodów and just 50 miles from the Ukrainian border, just hours ago.

According to the Czech Minister of Defence, the strike came from Russia is “confirmed”, adding: “We will soon find out whether it was a mistake or an act of consent and provocation. All parties are now trying to quickly investigate this, including finding out exactly what type of missiles were involved

We stand on the brink of a new world war, a war that could be even more devastating than the last. Just moments ago, Russian missiles struck a village inside Poland, causing two confirmed casualties. The world is on edge, wondering if this was a mistake or an intentional act of provocation. If it was deliberate, it could prompt Poland to trigger NATO’s Article 5 provisions, calling on all treaty members to attack Russia. And if it wasn’t deliberate, it could still escalate the conflict in Ukraine to unthinkable levels. This is a terrifying moment for all of us, and we can only pray that cooler heads will prevail. But for now, it looks like we are teetering on the edge of a new and very dangerous chapter in human history.
