Fact-checkers are biased. They fact-check things that Trump says and conservatives post that they don’t like, but give radical leftists a free pass. We all have a right to free speech, and the choice not to listen.
Thanks to Donald Trump’s announcement of a run for the White House, Facebook will have to stop fact-checking him. It is apparently now against Facebook’s policy to fact-check anything Trump says, according to a memo the company sent out.
This is an ironic announcement given that 2 years ago Zuckerberg claimed Social networks should not fact-check politicians.
CNN reported. Facebook and Instagram’s parent company Meta pays third-party fact-checking organizations to label misinformation.
Although Trump is currently banned from Facebook, the fact-check ban applies to anything Trump says, and so-called false statements made by him can be posted by others.
The carve-out applies to all politicians, not just Trump. Meta’s “news integrity partnership” team emailed fact-checkers on Tuesday before Trump’s announcement.
It is clear from Tuesday’s memo from Meta that social media platforms must decide how to handle another potential Trump campaign.
According to the memo, political speech is not eligible for fact-checking. It includes the words a politician speaks as well as photos, videos, or other content clearly identifying the politician or their campaign.
Republican and Democratic critics have criticized Meta’s fact-checking program – with Republicans saying the company goes too far, and Democrats saying it doesn’t go far enough.
After the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol, Trump has been prohibited from posting on his Facebook and Instagram accounts. Meta plans to consider allowing Trump back on the platform as soon as January – two years after his initial ban.
Finally, it seems as though Facebook is starting to play fair. After years of Conservative voices being censored, fact-checked, and generally squashed on the platform, it looks like things might be changing. With Elon Musk taking over Twitter, and Mark Zuckerberg now under pressure to follow suit, it seems as though all voices will finally be heard on social media. This is a victory for free speech, and a step in the right direction for our country. However, we must still be vigilant. We must continue to fight for our right to be heard, and never allow ourselves to be silenced again. Only then can we truly move forward as a nation.

The attack on the Capitol Building?? The attack on the Capital Building was done under the directions of Piglosi and her cabal who had their video equipment there so they could record their "antifa/blm' civilian army as they broke windows on the Capitol Building. There were "fbi" insurrectionists there telling people they HAD TO GO INTO THE BUILDING. Even the Police OPENED the doors to enable entry. President Trump HAD NOTHING to do with the ATTACK!!!!! He told Americans to do it PEACEFULLY!!!
Zuckerberg is trying to close the barn door after the horse is out. Make no mistake, Zuckerberg and his corporate entity, meta are guilty of election fraud by manipulating public discourse in violation of the First Amendment. It's worse than the radical left propagating divisive rhetoric and violent demonstrations before the 2020 elections and using unification as a plank in their campaign platform. Subsequent to their successful fear mongering prior to the election, the rad left wants everyone to sit around their campfire and sing Cum bye yah. The Republican House needs to move ahead with a full and complete investigation of election interference by Zuckerberg, Twitter and several major cable networks.
