IDIOCY: DEMOCRAT THREATENS MUSK OVER BLUE CHECK MARK

When things don’t go Democrats’ way they throw temper tantrums, and the temper tantrums can be very childish especially when they involve Elon Musk.

When it comes to the world of twitter most users are used to trolling, and people pretending to be others. But it appears that Senator Ed Markey is a little more upset about it than others, and takes to threatening the almost trillionaire with his position on numerous Senate committees.

Townhall reports. Twitter Chief Elon Musk responded to Democrat Sen. Ed Markey’s complaints about the problem of impersonation on the social media giant now that anyone could get a blue check mark for $8 per month under its premium service, Twitter Blue.

In a letter to Musk, Markey demanded answers after a Washington Post reporter was able to impersonate him under the handle @realedmarkey, claiming the billionaire is “putting profits over people and his debt over stopping disinformation.” He demanded responses to his questions by Nov. 25, 2002

Washington Post reporter Geoffrey Fowler impersonated Markey and comedienne Blaire Erskine to highlight Twitter Blue’s vulnerabilities, after which applications for the new service were put on hold.

In response, Musk suggested it’s because Markey’s “real account sounds like a parody.”

Elon also trolled the Democrat senator’s masked profile pic

Musk’s attitude towards Markey’s angry letter prompted the far-left to issue a warning to the entrepreneur, which comes after President Biden threatened that the billionaire’s relationships are “worth being looked at.”

Elon Musk seemed unfazed by the attacks stating “ Are you suggesting the Senator will abuse his political power to attack me?”

Senator Markey however doubled down on the threats to abuse his power by stating ”One of your companies is under an FTC consent decree. Auto safety watchdog NHTSA is investigating another for killing people. And you’re spending your time picking fights online. Fix your companies. Or Congress will.”

Jim hansen jumped into the argument stating “ Pretty sure mocking a clownish politician is nota  legal or compliance issue” Jim Hanson further added “100% sure Congress is not empowered by the Constitution to “fix companies” because their CEO mocked you Eddie”

Legal Scholar Mike davis chimed in also stating “ Dear Elon Musk. FYI Senator Markey is the 76 year old junior senator from Massachusetts. Other than tweeting (laughable) threats, he doesn’t have the sway to do anything to you.”

David Limbaugh finished up by saying “ If this isn’t a parody account, this tweet is an egregious stunning and arrogant abuse of power”

Oh boy twitter is indeed fun again. Just wait till Donald Trump is back on there melting liberals left and right. But it is good to note that the Senator is using a person on a social media platform impersonating himself, paying $8 to get verified as a paid user, and is now attempting to hold Elon Musk accountable for an unknown person’s actions on the network. That is a rampant abuse of power, and he should be held accountable. In this country we have the freedom of speech whether or not the Democrat elitists like it or not. Also the od days of what a blue check mean are done and gone, just because someone has a bluecheck does not mean they were vetted, it means they are a paid user is all. Now regardless of any sort of political discourse, or argument the threatening of Elon’s companies by a sitting member of the Senate should not be overlooked. Imagine how many people the elected official has threatened over the years that does not have the clout Musk has, and would have folded under the first instance of pressure from what a Senator could theoretically impose. This should be investigated immediately.
