When it comes to the African American voter there has been a solid shift from blue to red across the united states.

With midterm election results and exit polling there is an increase in Republican support among blacks and Latinos. With the continued efforts by Donald Trump to get minority candidates on the ballot, and elected the shift has occurred. That news is shaking the Democrats to their core.

The Daily Caller reports. After Tuesday night’s much-touted red wave failed to materialize, Republicans have found a silver lining.

According to a Wall Street Journal poll conducted before the election, Republicans gained ground among Black and Latino voters. 8% of black voters will vote for Donald Trump in 2020, but 17% will vote for a Republican in 2022..

According to John Anzalone, the Republican Party is now making inroads among both African-Americans and Latinos.

However, the Wall Street Journal noted that black voters have shifted right, despite the fact that “Hispanic and Black voters continue to vote solidly for Democrats.”

According to the Wall Street Journal’s electoral data, black voters aged 18-44 shifted 15 points to Republicans.

Blacks and hispanics were not the only ones to shift towards Republican this election cycle.

According to CNN. The party had a huge advantage among women when Democrats took control of the House after the 2018 election.

Although women represented a similar majority of voters in 2022, Democrats’ lead appears to have shrunk significantly. In addition, Republican support among men grew in 2022.

The party’s success in 2018 was largely due to winning young voters by huge margins. There has been a decline in that advantage this year due to the Republicans. Republicans won majority support in 2022 despite a split between Democrats and Republicans among older voters in 2018.

White women, a key voting bloc split between the two parties in 2018, voted for the Republican party in a majority. Among Latino voters, Republicans also performed better than they did four years ago. According to early exit polls, Democrats have less than 55% support among Latino men in 2022. Although Democrats still received about two-thirds of Latino women’s support, Republicans appeared to cut into their advantage.

The Republican Party is far from dead, despite what the media would have you believe. In fact, the GOP has found new life among minority voters, and it appears poised to make significant gains in the next election cycle. African Americans and Latinos have increasingly been drawn to the Republican Party, and women voters have also been shifting their support to the GOP. The party had a huge advantage among women when Democrats took control of the House after the 2018 election, but although women represented a similar majority of voters in 2022, Democrats’ lead has shrunk significantly. In addition, Republican support among men grew in 2022. The Democratic Party’s Lead appears to have shrunk significantly, and the Republicans are clearly alive and well. It will be interesting to see how these trends play out in the next election cycle.
