During a CNN town hall Wednesday, former Vice President Mike Pence said the White House needs new leadership.
The Daily Caller reports, former President Donald Trump has recently announced his bid to regain control over the country, but Vice President Pence has refused to say whether he will support it or if he will run himself.
Additionally, the former vice president said Republicans will “have better choices” than Trump in the 2024 presidential election, telling CNN’s Jake Tapper that he would “keep him posted” on his own run.
Twitter users were fed up with CNN for hosting Mike Pence at the town hall.
One person tweeted, “Why is CNN hosting a town hall with Mike Pence tonight?”
Another said, “Wait, is CNN sponsoring Mike Pence’s book, or did they just forget how to do journalism?”
And another commented, “The town hall that @CNN hosted for lying bigot Mike Pence yesterday to promote his propaganda book is why I stopped watching them years ago.”
Donald Trump has recently announced his bid to regain control over the country, but Vice President Pence has refused to say whether he will support it or if he will run himself. This is a shocking display of betrayal from the former Vice President. Trump has done more for this country than any other President in modern history, and Pence should be grateful for his role under Trump. The “Make America Great Again” movement is stronger than ever, and there is no way Pence can win against the Trump Train.
