Bad news hit Joe Biden as he struggled to blow out 80 candles on his birthday cake. After the midterms, Joe’s struggling to win over Democrats. It seems that even his party is losing faith in him. This could be a turning point for the former Vice President as he mulls over whether to run for President in 2024. Only time will tell if he can turn things around and win back the support of his party.

Despite better than expected results for Democrats in last week’s midterm elections, about half of Democratic voters want President Joe Biden to run for a second term in 2024.

Conservative Brief reports, According to a Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll conducted for Newsweek, 51 percent of Democratic voters support Biden running again in two years, while 37 percent oppose it, and 12 percent are unsure.

In the poll, 60 percent of those who responded “no” cited Biden’s age as the main reason why he shouldn’t seek another term.

On Sunday, he turned 80 and became the first octogenarian in the Oval Office. Historically, former presidents have not reached their 80s until they have left office. Biden is the oldest president in American history to still be in office.

Respondents cited Biden’s age as the greatest reason he shouldn’t run again, followed by 12 percent citing other potential Democratic candidates and 9 percent citing his economic policies.

November 17’s poll had 1,500 respondents.

Democrats beat expectations in this year’s midterms and retained control of the Senate, while the Republican majority in the House of Representatives was smaller than was widely predicted.

Nonetheless, the Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll also found Biden with a substantial lead over potential Democratic rivals in a hypothetical primary with 61 percent of Democratic respondents saying they’d vote for him.

Biden has indicated he wants to run for president again in 2024 and he’s widely expected to consider the matter with his family over the Thanksgiving holiday, though he has made no formal campaign announcement.

That stands in contrast to former President Donald Trump, who has declared his candidacy. The Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll found that 59 percent of Republicans supported Trump running again, compared to 32 percent who didn’t and 9 percent who didn’t know.

Joe Biden’s birthday bash turned into a nightmare when members of his own party delivered him a strong message – they’re losing faith in him. This could be a turning point for the former Vice President, who is struggling to win over Democrats after the midterms. Even his own party is starting to question whether he can lead America forward. The numbers don’t lie – half of Democratic voters want President Joe Biden to run for a second term in 2024. This is a clear sign that Biden is failing America and his party is losing faith in him. If he doesn’t turn things around soon, he may not have a chance at winning the 2024 election.
