Here’s How Much Biden is Forcing Us to Pay for Each of His Delaware Vacations

Joe Biden has racked up quite a bill forcing American taxpayers to foot the cost for his Delaware vacations. How much is he really costing us? Let’s take a look. Spoiler alert: it’s shameful. Simply shameful.

According to a Fox News Digital analysis, President Biden’s trips to Delaware have cost taxpayers at least $11 million since he took office.

FOX writes, in total, Biden has made 57 trips to Delaware, spanning 185 days, according to former CBS correspondent Mark Knoller.

Taxpayers are responsible for funding the costs associated with using either Air Force One or Marine One, as well as Secret Service security. Delaware is home to the president, who has homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach.

Direct travel between the White House and Delaware accounted for most of the trips. Based on Knoller’s research, Biden has made 101 flights between the White House and Delaware – 71 on Marine One and 30 on Air Force One.

According to public documents from the Department of Defense comptroller, Marine One helicopters cost between $17,065 and $20,206 per hour. According to the president’s schedule, the helicopter trip between the White House and Delaware takes about an hour.

A trip to Delaware takes roughly 30 minutes, according to the president’s schedule, and Air Force One costs $177,843 per hour to operate. Accordingly, the total operational costs for the trips, including each mode of transportation, amount to about $4 million.

Last year, the New York Post obtained documents showing that the president’s first 16 trips to Delaware cost $1.96 million. If these data were applied to the president’s 57 trips, taxpayers would be on the hook for approximately $7 million.

Biden’s $11 million receipt is probably an underestimate since it does not include many miscellaneous expenses. In addition, he spends money on additional helicopters, travel to and from military airports before or after Air Force One flights, and accommodations for staff.

This is not the first time Joe Biden has been under scrutiny for traveling back and forth to Delaware.

Last year during the pandemic when his administration asked Americans not to travel, Biden traveled many times to his Delaware get-away spot, and the press did not take it lightly.

President Joe Biden’s trips to Delaware have cost taxpayers at least $11 million since he took office, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. This $11 million receipt is probably an underestimate since it does not include many miscellaneous expenses. His frequent weekend trips to Delaware prove Joe Biden does not want to work. We should not be footing the bill for him to vacation nearly every weekend. Biden is living in luxury while Americans suffer and be told what and what not to do. It’s time for Biden to get back to work and stop hiding in Delaware on the taxpayers’ dime.
