Following the disastrous outcomes from the midterm elections the Republicans still managed to gain control of the house of representatives, and Kevin Mccarthy is expected to be the house leader for the term, however there are some Republicans who will not be going quietly along with the establishment’s orders.

Washington Examiner reported. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is staring down an intensifying Republican mutiny threatening to derail his long-running quest to become speaker of the House.

With a threadbare Republican majority in the House, he can only afford a few defections, but three members have already publicly pledged not to vote for him, and another has indicated the same. He is at risk of repeating his failed 2015 bid for the gavel.

Rep. Matt Gaetz is one of McCarthy’s most veracious critics in the House GOP caucus, Gaetz was one of the earliest defectors making it clear that he will not back the California Republican for speaker and is confident that when the dust settles, McCarthy will not snag the gavel in January.

Ralph Norman is a recent addition to the GOP insurgency list came Monday night when Norman declared he would not back McCarthy, citing his concerns about “runaway federal spending.” Norman recalled how McCarthy declined to back a seven-year budget from the Republican Study Committee to “pay off the deficit” and contended he would not go along with that.

Andy Biggs Shortly after mounting a futile challenge against McCarthy for the GOP nomination to be speaker, Biggs came out publicly against his candidacy, emphasizing that voters he talked to “wanted new leadership” in Congress. Biggs chided that McCarthy won’t be crossing the 218 threshold and vowed not to help him.

This report comes on the heels of a major move by Mccarthy.

Conservative Brief reports, In a stunning turn of events, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has announced that he will be removing Representative Ilhan Omar from the key committee she sits on after taking reins in the House.

As the new Republican majority takes office in January, Kevin McCarthy is wasting no time in preparing to replace Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

The California Republican said on Saturday that he plans to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee for “antisemitic” remarks in the past.

WATCH

It figures that when the Republicans are finally poised to take control of the house they will begin the infighting. Regardless, the floor leader should be on board with investigating Biden, Hunter Biden, and all the failures of the border, economy and other policies that have left America in ruin since Joe Biden took office. There needs to be an immediate effort to fix the wrong doings that have literally destroyed every effort Trump made to save America. Further, those efforts need to be underway and all energy must be given to help get Trump back in office. Anything else is just politics as usual., which is what we would expect from Mccarthy.
