This week, many liberal media talkingheads were stunned when the real identity of the gay nightclub shooter was revealed. They had been quick to assume that the attacker was a right-wing extremist, but it turns out that he actually identified as nonbinary. This report is just another example of how biased and agenda-driven the mainstream media is.

As the suspect’s lawyer revealed their client is nonbinary late Tuesday, the leftist narrative about early Sunday’s shooting of a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub crumbled. 

At first, the Club Q shooting fueled rampant speculation in the media that the assailant was a “homophobe” who had allegedly committed a “hate crime.”

However, whith the reports of the shooter being nonbinary, the assertion that Christian conservatives and Fox News caused the attack was discredited. 

NBC’s Today did not mention the massacre, while ABC’s Good Morning America did not mention it either.

Newsbusters writes, there was, however, time for other stories NBC felt were more important, such as a 25-second report on the Supreme Court’s ruling clearing the way for a House committee to get Donald Trump’s tax returns.

On ABC, co-host George Stephanopoulos promised “[n]ew details in the Colorado shooting investigation” and a “chilling Facebook post from the shooter’s mother,” but his network sure left out the crucial fact that the alleged gunman committed a hate crime….against their own people?

When Robin Roberts also failed, chief national correspondent Matt Gutman occasionally used the suspect’s preferred pronouns of they and them

And, as noted by Trending Politics, CNN’s host Alisyn Camerota was at a loss for words on Tuesday night when the identity of the shooter was revealed.

The media is always quick to jump to conclusions, and the Club Q shooting was no exception. Immediately after the tragedy, many media outlets were quick to assume that the attacker was a right-wing extremist. However, it turns out that the shooter actually identified as nonbinary. This report is just another example of how biased and agenda-driven the mainstream media is. The media can’t be trusted to give us the facts; they’re more interested in pushing their own agenda. We need to be careful about what we believe, and make sure we get our information from reliable sources. Only then can we hope to make sense of tragedies like this one.
