For years America has not been buying fuel or oil from Venezuela as it is under a communist dictatorship. Now Biden is getting ready to flood the communist country with cash, which is just bad news.
Washington Examiner reported. After Nicolás Maduro’s government agreed to resume long-suspended talks with the opposition, the Biden administration granted Chevron a license to pump oil in Venezuela on Saturday.
Watch.
Earlier this year, the US Treasury Department lifted a key sanction that prevented Chevron, the last remaining US oil company in Venezuela, from producing and exporting oil. Chevron is only allowed to export oil produced in Venezuela to the United States under its limited license. The Venezuelan government is also prohibited from receiving profits from Chevron’s sale of that oil.
This move comes after representatives have called for a utilization of the defense production act to lower gas prices.
Daily Caller reports. Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto pressed Democratic Illinois Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi on Thursday about the recent uptick in gas prices.
Cavuto asked Krishnamoorthi about who should take responsibility for the rise in gas prices in states across the country, as the national average price per gallon of regular gasoline rose from $3.78 one week ago to just under $3.87 on Oct. 6, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).
Let’s Watch his response.
I thought we were not supporting dictatorships, or communist regimes? Trump would have never allowed the United States to be in the unique position we are currently in. The domestic oil production was halted under Biden, and this has caused us to be in the insane position we are in now, we need to open the land leases inside the United States, and not send our money to communist nations.

Which is especially amazing given the U.S. has refused to recognize Nicolas Maduro as the legitimate head of the Venezuelan government, in favor of Juan Gaido, since 2019.
