Republican Governors have sent a letter to Congress expressing their concern over the current state of our national security.

This collective letter to Congress expresses concern over the mandatory jab mandate being imposed on our military by this administration. The political games within our military must be stopped before it’s too late.

Daily Caller reports, the letter expresses the concerns of the GOP governors about the military jab mandate to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. Legislators argue that the mandate poses a national security risk.

The Governors wrote, “We ask you to take immediate action to remove and prohibit the Biden Administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate on members of the U.S. Armed Forces… [the] mandate on our military creates a national security risk that severely impacts our defense capabilities abroad and our state readiness here at home.” 

The military should not be held hostage by politicians, for if they suffer, we suffer as a nation. There have been a number of service members who have been disrespected by this Administration during this administration, and it has trickled down to the civilian population as well. We will not be able to defend ourselves if our military is unfit for duty.

According to The Center Square reports, the US Army has cut off benefits to roughly 40,000 National Guard and 22,000 Reserve soldiers who refuse to take the jab. The 60,000 service members being pushed out of the Army are only a fraction of the total army population.

In reality, the number is much higher, according to military data. According to a leaked document we received from a military whistleblower, the real number of unjabbed military personnel in 2022 was over 500,000, or nearly 25% (approximately 440,000 were reservists).

Are they really expecting us to believe that 440,000-plus soldiers just decided to comply since that date or do they really plan to kick out a quarter of our military when recruitment levels are a disaster?

During Trump’s announcement to run for president in 2024 he declared that should he win all “every patriot who was fired from our military with an apology and full back pay”

Never in the history of our country has our military members who defend our rights to live free ever been this disrespected. Those men and women are the bravest among us yet our government is playing a dangerous game by not dis-respecting their medical freedom. The time has come to lift this mandate for our military. Our military members put their lives on the line for us every day, and the least we can do is respect their wishes when it comes to this matter. This vaccine mandate goes against everything that our military members stand for, and it needs to be lifted immediately. Our government needs to start listening to our military members and respecting their rights, before it’s too late.
