Questions have been circulating for months on whether or not Joe Biden will actually run for re-election in the 2024 presidential race. Wishy washy responses from Creepy Joe and leaks from top Democrats have left us guessing. Well it appears we may soon have the answer.
There has been a lot of speculation about whether or not Joe Biden will seek re-election in 2024. Biden has been noncommittal about his intentions, as top Democrats have also remained coy and unwilling to provide answers. In light of Ron Klain’s recent statement, it seems likely that the White House is going to be forthright about Joe Biden’s plans whatever they may be soon. If Joe runs again, however, it could be a slow motion train wreck as his health appears to be on the decline.
Bloomberg reports, according to Ron Klain, White House Chief of Staff, President Joe Biden is expected to announce he is running for re-election after Christmas and New Year’s.
In the midterm elections, Biden’s Democratic Party fared much better than expected and he has said he intends to run again. He has said he will make a formal decision early next year, however.
Klain on Monday at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council summit said, “The president will make that decision. I expect it shortly after the holiday. I expect the decision will be to do it.”
“Expect” is a curious word that still leaves room for Biden to back out of the run but time will tell if he actually thinks he’s got what it takes to campaign in 2024.
Three weeks ago he told the press at a rare press conference that he “intends” to run again.
Epoch Times notes, As concerns about his age and health have grown over the past year and a half, Biden has publicly indicated that he may run again in 2024. Last month, the president turned 80 years old, becoming the first octogenarian in the Oval Office.
Keep in mind that Democrat Congresswoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney, during an interview with the New York Times said President Joe Biden will not run for re-election in 2024, while thinking she was off the record, forcing her to run to CNN to apologize to Old Joe on the Air.
Speculation has been growing unabated surrounding Joe Biden’s candidacy in the 2024 election. But while top Democrats remain coy on the issue, Biden himself remains noncommittal, unwilling to confirm or deny his intentions. However, recent statements from White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain hint that a formal announcement is soon to come- whatever it may be. If Joe decides to run again, it could prove to be a highly challenging campaign as his health has been deteriorating over the time and running could essentially turn out to be a slow-motion train wreck. After Christmas and New Year’s Day, we may finally have President Joe Biden’s definitive answer but conflicting reports from Carolyn Maloney suggest he will not be seeking re-election at all. Whatever the case may be – we’ll find out soon enough!
