Border Patrol agents seized enough fentanyl to kill over 5 million people. This is the largest fentanyl seizure in history and it’s just one example of how serious the opioid crisis has become. In this video, I’m going to talk about what Biden is not doing to tackle this problem and why it’s so important that we take action now.

Breitbart reports that Border Patrol agents in Robstown, Texas discovered 25 pounds of liquid fentanyl hidden inside a specialized compartment inside a vehicle’s gas tank. This quantity of liquid fentanyl could kill more than double Houston’s population – 5.665 million people.

Chief Patrol Border Agent, Gloria Chavez celebrated the bust on twitter. Stating that he was extremely proud of our US Border patrol agents and other authorities who worked together, interdicted & seized the largest amount of liquid fentanyl in the history of the USA’

In a secondary tweet, she then highlighted the value of a bust of this magnitude. Stating the fact it would kill over 5.665 million people.

An alert from the Drug Enforcement Administration describes Fentanyl as the country’s deadliest drug threat. This synthetic opioid, which can be highly addictive, is 50 times more potent than heroin and morphine.

Typically, a dose small enough to fit on the end of a pencil is considered a potentially lethal amount.

As reported by the DEA, the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco Cartel in Mexico are responsible for trafficking most of the fentanyl in the United States using chemicals from China.

Be that the Biden Administration and its policies are endangering millions of Americans. The governor of Texas did not hesitate to highlight Texas’ border protection efforts in his latest tweet. The governor stated “ As Biden fails to fix the crisis his open border policies created, Texas continues to secure the border.”

CBS gave a look into the drugs flowing into and across the country from the border.

TAKE A LOOK

It is high time this Biden Administration recognizes the severity of this ongoing fentanyl crisis. Through no fault of their own, the state of Texas is fighting a two headed dragon. One being the cartel the other being the federal government. Every battle thus far has been won by these cartels, and if something isn’t done soon we may very well lose this drug-driven war. We must urge this administration to revise their immigration policies if we are ever going to see positive change affecting these border states. As conservatives, we simply cannot condone any continued inaction from higher authorities; otherwise, they will certainly have a lot of blood on their hands.
