You’ll FREAK When You See What The Satanic Temple Just Installed in This State Capitol

Brace yourselves, because you won’t believe what’s just been installed in the Illinois State Capitol! That’s right-the Satanic Temple has just finished installing their ‘Serpent of Genesis’ statue in the building to celebrate “Sol Invictus”!

Putting up religious displays in the Illinois capitol rotunda is an annual tradition in Springfield, but one controversial exhibit is back for its fourth year, the satanic temple of Illinois.

The outrageous display, installed in the Illinois State Capitol building sits next to a Christian Nativity scene, and a Jewish Menorah. It is already stirring up controversy and turning heads. Supporters say this bold move is a celebration of the pursuit of knowledge and of remaining unconquered by superstition. Critics aren’t worried however because they know how the book ends.

According to Satanic “Minister Adam,” this year’s display, the Temple’s third, is meant to highlight banned literature.

According to a report from The Center Square, the Satanist said, “So we selected a banned book, Copernicus’ ‘Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres,’ published in 1543 and banned by the Catholic church for over 200 years. This sits on a plinth with a basket of handknit apples as well as a 12-foot crocheted snake.”

Asked whether he was concerned about offending people, he said it wasn’t a problem for him.

The Devil worshiper elaborated, “Being offended is something that is more than welcomed for them to be able to do, that is their right, but we have every right to be here and we’re not going to sanitize that message because someone else is offended by that.”

During an interview with Illinois Capitol bureau chief Cole Henke the Satanist said it is an “affirmation of our satanic values”

Those Henke spoke with say they appreciate each group’s chance to share their beliefs.

The Satanic Temple installed a swaddled “Baby Baphomet” in the Illinois Capitol Rotunda’s holiday exhibit last year.

Andrew Hansen, a spokesperson for the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois reacted to that years display saying, “Mocking the millions of Christians in the state of Illinois and billions around the world by depicting the baby Jesus this Christmas with the ‘satanic deity’ Baphomet is the very definition of evil and causing division, but that is to be expected from an organization that is in existence to troll people of faith.”

God has always been victorious while Satan long ago lost the battle of eternity. His desire to lead God’s followers away from Him is being exposed as a futile attempt, with this fourth year that the Illinois capitol rotunda in Springfield displays a controversial Satanic exhibit. ‘Serpent of Genesis’ is the latest reminder of Satan’s proposed agenda, a display to recognize “Sol Invictus” but God stands ever stronger and will not be defeated! We can celebrate God’s Good News this Christmas, knowing that God has already won—He overcame the grave at the resurrection and nothing can prevent us from experiencing peace and joy at this time! Merry Christmas to all!
