Obama’s White House Nutrition Advisor and Chef is serving up a feast of fear warning us to enjoy some of our favorite foods for now, because Climate Change will soon make them disappear.

Obama’s former White House chef is pushing climate fear and says that we need to enjoy our favorite foods while we still can, because they might not be around in the next 30 years.

The Daily Wire reports, According to chef Sam Kass, who worked in the Obama White House, everyday food products will be hard to locate in 30 years due to climate change.

Sam Kass, who was also a former senior policy advisor for nutrition at the White House, cited rice, coffee, wine, and chocolate as popular foods that could become scarce in the near future at a recent dinner event promoting regenerative agriculture.

Kass told PEOPLE magazine that “a number of foods we hold dear to our hearts are under threat.” “And you’re seeing in the future, we’re on track for a lot of those to become quite scarce and some really to be largely unavailable to most people and others just significantly increased in cost.”

It should also be noted that this food expert teamed up last week with food brand Knorr to host a “$500 Dinner,” an event in New York City meant to highlight dinner table staples that are at risk without widespread adoption of regenerative agriculture practices, according to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, which encourages sustainable food systems and environmental health through a “holistic approach” in farming.

Due to record inflation, everyone without millions in the bank is seeing and experiencing dramatic increases in food prices, but Kass would accredit most of that to climate change.

According to the World Economic Forum, Sam Kass was invited to discuss how we can save our planet through food. Kass had this to say, “It’s not going to be some overnight ‘we snap our fingers and our food system is saved. And everybody is eating healthy food and we’re doing it in a way that’s saving the planet. That’s just not how food works.”

Here is Sam Kass speaking at the World Economic this past September about our Global Resource Crisis.

As a nutrition policy adviser he drove home his point with this, “And our policymakers have to catch up because they’re behind. And food companies have to catch up because they are also quite behind. But it’s going to have to start by having one meal at a time.”

Yep, if you want to know why your food is going up. Definitely listen to people who attend the World Economic Forum, who host $500 events to tell you how expensive food is going to be in the future.

It is certainly true that naturally grown food is reliant on the climate to some extent, yet there is something a bit extreme about the angle taken by elites at the World Economic Forum who are sounding the alarm on why food prices are soaring and attributing it to climate change. Clearly, Americans are well aware of why their food prices have become increasingly outrageous recently, and if one works in policy they should also be aware of this. It would be foolish to blindly believe that climate change is single-handedly responsible for this issue. But first you have to believe Climate Change. The American public deserves better; proposals should be grounded in reality and take into account all factors before suggestions or decisions are made.
