In an apparent move to give some of the money back to the people they scammed it from, BLM is setting aside a few bucks to go towards student loan payments.

BLM has been mired in reports of billions of dollars coming in, and multi million dollar mansions being purchased. Now apparently to get back some trust the group is stating they will be giving money towards student loan debt.
The Western Journal Reports, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation launched a new relief fund for black college students, alumni, and dropouts who have student loans.
The foundation plans to award relief payments ranging from $750 to $4,500 to more than 500 recipients from the fund. The application process for the fund opened on Monday, and if selected, recipients will receive their funds in January.
BLM Co-Founder Patrisse Cullors was recently in hot water over spending millions of dollars on mansions.
Cullors helped cofound BLM in 2013 and was instrumental in the organization’s rise to national prominence following the death of George Floyd and subsequent riots in 2020.
It was questioned, however, how the BLM Global Network Foundation spent the $90 million it had raised following that tumultuous year.
In March 2021, Cullors purchased the Topanga Canyon compound for $3.2 million in cash under the entity name “Abolitionist Entertainment, LLC.” Since 2016, she had purchased four homes in California and Georgia.
According to Breitbart News, she resigned from BLM after facing mounting criticism over missed funds in May 2021.
I wonder whatever happened to the missing funds. But clearly the BLM organization is attempting to give some of the money back to the community, and it might actually have a positive effect. But if the organization could reclaim some of the millions of dollars lost on the mansions, and the even bigger chunks of money that went out to liberal political candidates and put that money in the fund, they could be doing a lot more good for the community, not just the Democrat party.
