Whoopi Goldberg had some interesting insights about the Republican party and their recent vote in support of the Marriage Act. According to her, it all comes down to the fact that they’re all secretly gay. Can’t argue with that logic.

The Daily Wire reports, “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg speculated that all Republicans who supported the Respect for Marriage Act may have been instructed to do so by a friend – or “perhaps a lover.”

On Wednesday, Goldberg and her co-hosts attempted to discuss the legislation that President Joe Biden signed into law in a lavish ceremony that included drag queens.

Let’s watch the chaos unfold as these birththing people continue to lower the bar for all television.

The Respect for Marriage Act was passed by 51 Republicans in both legislative chambers – 39 in the House and 12 in the Senate.

It’s still surprising that so many Republicans voted for a bill that clearly puts people with deep religious beliefs at risk. Spineless.

According to The Epoch Times, ten Republicans switched their votes on the bill codifying protections for same-sex marriage, a measure that has drawn fierce criticism from some groups for endangering religious freedom.

In July, the House passed the Respect for Marriage Act and the Senate amended it on Dec. 8. The legislation would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, a 1996 law that stated marriage was a union between a man and a woman, codifying the Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling that declared the law unconstitutional and required states to license gay marriages.

Those who spoke out against changing from yes to no said they were concerned about a lack of safeguards for religious groups that hold that marriage must be between a man and a woman.

Senator Diaz-Balart, who voted no, issued this statement.

“It is unfortunate that the Senate missed an opportunity to protect marriage equality while also guaranteeing religious freedom. After multiple efforts by my colleagues to offer amendments, Senate Democrats rejected each amendment and doubled down on a bill that fails to uphold the religious liberties which are sacred to our nation,”

Three amendments aimed at protecting religious freedom were rejected by senators in November.

Many religious conservatives faced a difficult time with the passing of this new law. However, it would be unfair to call all the Republicans who voted for it ‘gay’ – that would simply be wrong. This is an example of the differences between leftism and conservatism: when leftists get what they want, even with some Republican co-operation, they are quick to turn their backs on those same politicians and resort to name calling. We handle things differently despite how disappointed we are with the results. That goes to show to us those lawmakers aren’t conservatives because true conservativism fights to conserve tradition family values and if they can’t, they do everything protect those with those values. That’s how those Republicans failed conservatives.
