According to Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY), President Joe Biden should run for reelection in 2024.
In an interview with CNN’s Jamie Gangel, the two leading Democrats discussed a wide range of issues in what may be their last joint interview since Pelosi plans to step down as a leader in the House, as reported by the Washington Examiner.
In response to a question about whether Biden should run for president in 2024, the two doubled down on their support.
Despite seemingly being endorsed by two of the biggest figures in the Democrat party, Joe Biden doesn’t seem to be doing too well with a majority of Democrat voters.
For example, in a recent CNN poll, when asked if Joe Biden “deserves to be re-elected” in 2024, 62% of respondents said ‘no’ compared to the dismal 37% that said ‘yes.’
In addition, when Democrat voters in the poll were asked if they “just want to see someone besides Joe Biden’ as the nominee in 2024, 72% said yes.
Despite endorsements from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer , Joe Biden isn’t getting the same amount of support that he once had within his own party. According to the recent CNN poll, only 37% of respondents believe that Biden “deserves” to be reelected in 2024 with 62% saying ‘no.’ Even more shocking is that 72% of Democrat voters in the poll want to see someone besides Biden as the nominee in 2024. The results suggest that if Republicans want to retake control of the White House in 2024, then now may be the time to rally behind a new message: Joe Has Got To Go and Make America Great Again for a Republican victory in 2024!
