Biden TRAUMATIZES Irish Community Once Again by Blurting Out Painful Slur

A couple of awkward ethnic-related comments Biden made during a recent veterans town hall address in Delaware were blasted on Twitter by his critics.

As part of his Friday speech, Biden said despite being Irish, he is not stupid and that he has a “little Italian” in him because his wife’s family is Italian.

Nevertheless, many internet users found the comments offensive.

Several prominent Twitter users weighed in on the video, claiming that the president was repeating anti-Irish sentiment and misrepresenting the genealogy of his wife.

“Hate crime,” reporter Mary Margaret Olohan tweeted.

The Washington Examiner’s Jerry Dunleavy provided his analysis of Biden’s comment, tweeting, “Biden loves this Bidenism (he’s said it in the past before) — just casual old school anti-Irish stereotyping, but he thinks it’s a fun part of his gift of the gab because he considers himself Irish (his great-great-great grandfather moved to America from Ireland in the 1800s.)”

The clip was also shared on Twitter by conservative digital strategist Greg Price, who explained what was behind Biden’s latest embellishment.

He tweeted, “Jill Biden’s father’s name is Donald Jacobs,” adding, “Giacoppa is apparently the Italianized version of Jill Biden’s maiden name lol.”

First Lady Jill Biden – whose maiden name is Jacobs – does have Italian roots, though her great-grandfather was the last of her family to bear the name Giacoppa before coming to America.

This is not the first time Biden has traumatized the Irish community with this line.

On St. Patrick’s Day earlier this year, The Daily Wire reported that Biden blurted out the same slur that made headlines around the world. Biden was speaking at the Annual Friends of Ireland Luncheon.

The disgraceful comment made by President Biden toward the Irish-American community has sent shockwaves through a demographic already devastated by centuries of injustice. His words are cruel, insensitive, and completely counter to his promise of unity—all of which make it clear that the president owes an apology to the millions of Irish-Americans whose feelings he has hurt once again. With political tensions running high in our nation, this kind of language is simply unacceptable and undermines any hope for meaningful progress. It is unreal that even someone leading our country is capable of conveying such hurtful sentiments; Joe Biden must apologize now for his disgraceful slur.
