WATCH: West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin Has No Idea What Party He Belongs To

Joe Manchin teases the political world with his response when he was asked whether or not he is still a member of the Democrat party.

Manchin has been an outspoken supporter of President Joe Biden, yet he holds Democrats accountable for the fact that they have failed to meet America’s expectations in many areas, particularly following the 2020 election cycle.

Townhall reports, in response to questions on whether he intends to leave the Democratic Party, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va) declined to answer.

Manchin was asked during a recent interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, about a recent failure that Manchin experienced, and how he felt about partisan politics.

Watch.

After Manchin was asked about his comments regarding serving as an “Independent voice” in the Senate, he was asked if he believed his remarks would hold true in the near future.

It is not unprecedented for a Senator to switch parties.5

TownHall reports, Former West Virginia Democratic Sen. Glenn Jeffries has resigned from his party to become a Republican.

“In a statement, Jeffries said, “I am grateful for all the friends and supporters I have been blessed with throughout my time in public office.” He added, “Our politics have become so personal and difficult lately.” It is important to me to serve our constituents and state in a respectful, thoughtful manner that benefits all West Virginians..”

As a result of Jeffries moving to the right, he added to the supermajority that already controls the Senate. He represents parts of Kanawha and Putnam counties in District 8, and before the switch, four of the 34 Senate seats were held by Democrats. The number has now been reduced to three.

Jeffries re-emphasized that he plans to “work in a bipartisan way to find solutions for our biggest problems in West Virginia.”

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va) stirred the rumour mill yet again, as he took an unexpected pause and refused to answer questions yesterday when asked if he’ll be sticking around within the Democratic Party. After making controversial comments stating he will serve in the Senate as an “Independent voice,” Manchin has left his colleagues wondering whether or not democrats have failed America and what this means for President Joe Biden and his administration going forward, with some people questioning aloud if Trump 2024 is more of a reality than many initially thought. With so much uncertainty surrounding Manchin’s decision, only time will tell how it all plays out.

Let’s continue this conversation, in the comments below.
