ALERT: YOUR LIFE IS AT RISK DURING CHRISTMAS

Univision’s Midday News recently raised eyebrows during what should have been a week of celebration with their fear-mongering report. They were pushing the idea that Christmas isn’t a time for joy, but instead a time for stress in the face of danger. A dangerous combination indeed; one would think it’d be better to sit at home and watch Netflix…alone! Then again, Univision may have put its foot on the drama accelerator once too often this season.

Apparently, according to Univision, presenting children with gifts or hosting family dinner can contribute to what it called “the biggest cause of death among adults these days”–and all around our favorite time of year, no less.

Newsbusters reports. Univision’s midday news staff gifted their Navidad-adoring public with a fear-mongering report connecting the joys of the season with heart attacks on the last Monday before Christmas.

Forget about the Christ at Christmas, forget about the true meaning of Christmas; forget even about vaccinations and boosters: from Christmas through January 1st, buying and giving presents, hosting your family for a traditional dinner, or hopping on a plane to hug your loved ones could be so stressful, Univision reports, that the celebrations can be marred by cardiac arrests, the leading cause of death among adults today.

While some media outlets need to focus on fear, there was a beautiful Christmas message that Melania Trump put out.

Fox news reports, The former first lady and former president Trump shared some of their favorite holiday traditions with foster care families in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Trumps welcomed nearly 100 foster kids to the Trump International Golf Club, as part of the first lady’s “Be Best” and “Fostering the Future” initiatives, which promote children’s well-being and youth communities. They decorated gingerbread cookies, painted ornaments, painted their faces, and met Santa and Mrs. Claus. Todd Zimmerman will read a storytime about “Oliver the Ornament,” a popular children’s Christmas book series for children.

Univision’s infamous festive fear-mongering report surprised many who thought that Christmas was meant for enjoyment, peace and love. What about the goodwill? Or the sleigh rides? Alas, the team at midday news managed to find one thing scarier than COVID this holiday season – heart attacks! Setting aside all traditional holiday activities like coming together with family, caroling or donning ugly sweaters, Univision cautioned that passing time with loved ones can result in cardiac arrests. It appears that giving a meaningful gift is far more detrimental then any virus out there.
