SpaceX Sets New Earth Shattering Record

With the latest launch of SpaceX and Starlink a new record was just achieved, and left the science world wondering how high those records could go!

Elon Musk launched Starlink with the goal to bring the internet to underdeveloped countries across the globe, which would bring knowledge and cultural advancement to billions of people. When he set his lofty goals, even he did not realize how successful it would be. Further in making the technology to have Starlink become a reality, new approaches were taken to how we get satellites into space.

Daily wire reports, On Saturday, SpaceX performed its 15th reusable rocket mission, further extending its record for the reusable booster rocket.

The Falcon 9 rocket carried 54 Starlink internet satellites lifted off Saturday afternoon from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The rocket’s booster returned to Earth about nine minutes after liftoff, landing aboard a SpaceX droneship off the coast of Florida in the Atlantic Ocean.

Watch.

Within 15 minutes of launch, over four dozen Starlink satellites were launched into orbit. According to Elon Musk, SpaceX launched three perfect orbital missions in 36 hours with this mission.

Up to now, Starlink has more than 3,500 satellites in orbit, with plans to add up to 30,000 in the future. It was also part of a busy period that saw three SpaceX launches in less than three days.

Starlink has proven its worth already since it was launched a few years ago.

Time reports, Starlink receivers have begun to arrive inside Iran, smuggled into the country in hopes of providing a backup internet should the Iranian regime shut down the country’s existing system. Starlink, operated by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, is a global network of low-orbit satellites that bypasses the terrestrial internet, and helped restore connectivity in Ukraine after the Russian invasion. Musk activated the satellites over Iran in September, after the U.S. government cleared the way for American tech companies to operate there in support of a wave of protests.

Elon Musk has shown his genius once again with the record-breaking launch of SpaceX and Starlink. Over 3500 internet satellites have been successfully sent into space, allowing for revolutionary advances in global communication with underdeveloped countries. The use of reusable rockets shows Musk’s dedication to bringing knowledge and advancement to billions of people, as well as contributing to the further growth of space travel. With Elon’s goal to colonize Mars and go to the moon for NASA, records such as this are becoming more regular. It will be thrilling to see what records Elon sets next, likely leaving the rest of us mere mortals questioning what could possibly come next!
