2024 just got more interesting; a conservative figure recently announced he has a “strong possibility” of entering the 2024 presidential election. While details remain sparse, this candidate is sure to cause buzz in Washington and beyond. With the 2024 election approaching, it’s time for everyone to buckle up for what could be one of the most important elections yet, with a conservative figure potentially vying for the top job. We’ll have to wait and see what 2024 holds.
2024 has the potential to be a watershed year for American politics, and veteran conservative speaker Larry Elder is hinting that he may be joining the race. Elder recently shared that there is ‘strong possibility’ of his candidacy, adding yet another name to the list of Republican hopefuls likely eyeing for 2024. With decades of experience as a commentator and author, Elder brings with him significant insight into the issues faced by America today, providing a valuable voice in this exciting presidential election cycle.
The Daily Wire reports Larry Elder said he’s “strongly considering” running for president in 2024 as a Republican.
During a recent interview on the Fox 11 Los Angeles program “The Issue Is: with Elex Michaelson,” Elder revealed this.
Elder said. My contribution to the table consists of two things. Among them is the reputation that America is systemically racist. The second is the importance of family.”
Throughout his career, Elder has addressed the issue of absent fathers in black American families. As a conservative radio icon, he became known as the “Sage of South Central” for his stance on such issues.
A report by Elder found that 70 percent of black children grow up without a father, while 40 percent of all American children live without a father.
According to the National Fatherhood Initiative, 18.4 million children – or 1 in 4 – grow up without a biological, step, or adoptive father.
Earlier this year, the conservative radio host discussed running for president. He met with potential donors from Iowa and New Hampshire earlier this year.
Last September, he told the Des Moines Register that he had floated the idea of running for president in 2024, even if former President Donald Trump declared his third bid for office.
2024 could be an interesting year for politics if Larry Elder decides to join the presidential race. Though his reputation as an influential commentator and speaker could give him a significant leg up if he continues to compete against other candidates, there are still lingering questions about whether or not he could truly rise to the level of Donald Trump or even Ron DeSantis. The 2020 race was a great example of how fiercely divided Americans can be between two major powers, so it stands to reason that adding such a recognizable face into the 2024 competition could make them have to consider a more varied range of options from which to choose their candidates. Only time will tell what movements the 2024 election cycle will bring but one thing is for sure: Larry Elder’s name causing a stir would definitely shake things up.
