Biden CONFIRMS Trip to Mexico – But There’s one HUGE Problem

In the midst of the ongoing migrant crisis along the southern border, President Biden will visit Mexico City next month.

A White House spokesman has confirmed that the trip takes place on Jan. 9-10, during a spike in illegal border crossings. If the Supreme Court ends the Title 42 COVID-19 expulsion policy, the situation could get worse.

This will be Biden’s first trip as president to Latin America, as well as to another Western Hemisphere country, and he will meet with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Even though Biden is traveling to Mexico, don’t expect him to visit the border and see the crisis with his own eyes.

The last time he traveled to a place close to the border, he defended himself from criticism that he should visit it.

Earlier this month while traveling to Phoenix, Arizona, Biden said that “there are more important things going on” about his Arizona trip not involving plans to visit the southern border.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Biden presided over nearly 2.4 million illegal border-crossing arrests in fiscal 2022, which ended Sept. 30, and the number is expected to increase if Title 42 ends the ability of border agents to promptly turn away migrants citing public health concerns.

A lower-court order lifting Title 42 was set to expire on Wednesday but was paused on Monday by Chief Justice John Roberts. As of now, it’s unclear for how long 19 Republican-led states will continue their expedited challenge.

Biden halted construction of Trump’s US-Mexico border wall and ended Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy that required asylum seekers to wait to be reviewed south of the border.

Although many citizens have advocated that he should see the crisis with his own eyes at the border, Biden does not appear inclined to do so. He knows that if he actually visits the border and is captured on camera with illegal migrants crossing into our country, those images and videos will be the end of his presidency. The Biden administration will ignore the border crisis as long as they can just so they can pass the problem on to the next administration.
