Jake Tapper Uses some colorful words to describe the new Republican led House

CNN has become notorious for its bias and complete lack of objectivity. This latest incident is just further proof that the network allows its “so-called” anchors to say whatever they want and get away with it, even if they use inappropriate language to describe the new Republican-led House. I Guarantee you, you will not find the words he used entertaining.

It is a sad state of affairs when there is such a deep divide in our society that those on the left feel the need to resort to name-calling. This was demonstrated recently when news anchor Jake Tapper “hit below the belt” with a disparaging insult towards Republican Party leadership. He demeaningly  suggested that the Senate GOP would not be able to legislate due to “McCarthy and his gang of ‘flying monkeys'”. Such unacceptable language from all sides only acts as an agent for further division, how do people like him have still have jobs?

Daily Caller reports, CNN’s Jake Tapper claimed Tuesday that Senate Republicans would not be able to pass legislation due to a “gang of flying monkeys” led by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

His guest was unfazed by what he just called congress on national television.

McCarthy supported 13 conservatives who threatened to scuttle legislative priorities of any Republican senators who help Senate Democrats pass the monstrosity that is the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill, saying that as speaker, the bills would be “dead on arrival.”

Texas Congressman, Chip Roy, first expressed his concern about the outrageous last minute 4 thousand page Omnibus bill that Senate Democrats are trying to pass before the new congress takes into effect next year. He and 12 other republicans expressed their opposition to the bill in a letter and signed it.

The tweet read, 13 @HouseGOP to @SenateGOP: “…we are obliged to inform you that if any omnibus passes in the remaining days of this Congress, we will oppose and whip opposition to any legislative priority of those senators who vote for this bill – including the… leader.”#StandUpForAmerica

Mcarthy either in genuine fashion or as a means of securing the votes to be speaker replied,

“Agreed. Except no need to whip—when I’m Speaker, their bills will be dead on arrival in the House if this nearly $2T monstrosity is allowed to move forward over our objections and the will of the American people.”

In November, McCarthy won the House Republican Conference’s nomination as speaker, but he will need 218 votes to become Speaker. Several Republicans have stated they will not back McCarthy for speaker, prompting former President Donald Trump to warn them they are playing with fire.

On Nov. 15, Republican Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona launched an unsuccessful challenge to McCarthy for the speakership, losing 188-31.1. Despite McCarthy being the Republican nominee, Biggs announced on Dec. 6 that he would still run for the position.

Jake Tapper’s recent comment about elected officials being like a “gang of flying monkeys” was a classic example of how the media mob has too much power. If any right-leaning anchor had made such an inflammatory comparison, there would have been a loud outcry from those who demand civilized discourse. It’s not about the veracity of his accusations but about our responsibility to be respectful when engaging with those we disagree with, regardless which end of the political spectrum we come from. If we stoop to their level then we both look incompetent and that can without a doubt backfire on republicans.
